As a fan of Carrie’s designs, I was excited to see what block of the month she would come up with this year. I am thrilled that this one is again tastefully colorful and full of opportunities (and suggestions) for hand embroidery. I love every part of working on these designs, but my favorite is adding the details. It’s a added bonus that I don’t have to do the tedious copying and cutting out of the shapes. As always the materials are first class and the thread matches are perfect. If you haven’t done one of her designs before, may I recommend you save yourself the hassle and get the thread kits. You won’t be sorry.
