Description
A new group will be starting January 2025! Appalachia is the result of many inspiring hikes in Hocking Hills State Park, the foothills of Appalachia. The blocks include a Wood Frog, toad, red-spotted newt, Spotted salamander, a centipede, jack-in-the-pulpit.trilliums, lady’s slipper orchid, mushrooms and more!
Appalachia is a 17 month block of the month project.
The applique shapes are pre cut, eliminating tracing and cutting!
There are sixteen 8″ x 8″ blocks; the quilt measures 34″ x 34″.
The duration of the project is 17 months, with one block shipped each month. The last month is the finishing kit.
The cost is $32.50 plus $5.00 for shipping per month.
The quilt consists of wool applique on wool with cotton borders, and is embellished with decorative embroidery.
After the first kit is shipped, you will be called for credit card information for the remaining kits.
Use your own pearl cotton for the decorative embroidery, or purchase the coordinating Wonderfil pearl cotton set.
Use your own threads for whipstitching the applique shapes or purchase the Ellana wool thread set.
